Food it’s one of the basic necessities of the human body and it cannot simply be avoided whether you are at home or exploring the world beyond borders. In addition to that rest and proper physical exercise are also equally important, unfortunately many travelers do not seem to care a lot about these simple aspects of life, which is why they fall sick during road trip. If you were travelling by a motorcycle, you need to be in the peak of your health in order to ride the motorcycle and reach your destination and come back home! Checkout these few simple things that will help you stay healthy on a two-wheeler road trip.

Eat less

No matter how hungry you get, never make the mistake of completely stuffing your stomach with food. Overheating or underrating are 2 of the most common mistakes people make when they are travelling. This happens because of one of 2 reasons. Either the food is extremely delicious and you can’t keep a tab on the amount of food you have already ingested, or the food is ridiculously bad and you don’t want to eat anything! Neither of these cases is good for your health. focus on eating your food and stop way before you feel completely satiated. The human stomach naturally produces gas and there are fluids in the stomach already, which means you can only fill up 1/3 of the space in your stomach anything more than that and you’re preparing yourself for a bloated tummy!

Focus on fibers

Keeping the bowels clear is extremely important because you don’t want to take multiple bathrooms breaks in the middle of your motorcycle ride. That is why we strongly recommend that you can zoom proteins and fibers and reduce the amount of bread and grains which does not aid in bowel movement. Fruits and fresh veggies are also highly recommended because he is a full of nutrients and dietary fibers which is aids in keeping your stomach clean every morning!

Sleep early

The last thing you want to do on a motorcycle rider to ride distracted or weight of fatigue mind. This is why, it is extremely important that your mind is completely rested and your body gets enough time to regenerate and recuperate from the days ride. Riding a motorcycle is a physically intensive exercise which is why the body needs to rest after 9 to 12 hours of continuously riding a motorcycle. Go to bed early and wake up early so that you can make use of the low traffic conditions to cover ground early in the morning. We also recommend that you and the days right maximum by 7:00 PM so that you have a couple of hours to settle down in the hotel room at the destination and prepare for the next day ahead. This also gives adequate time for the body and mind to rest.

Avoid the bottle

When you were travelling with friends the chances of bingeing on the bottle becomes really high which isn’t a bad thing as long as you know your limits. However, if you already have an ailment are you do not want the hangover the following morning, we would suggest that you avoid the bottle completely. In case you decide to take a sip, stay within your limits and focus on the fact that you will have to ride a motorcycle for the whole day as soon as the sun comes up!

Experiment with cuisines within a limit

Unless you experiment with the cuisine and cultural quirks of the destination, you have not completely explored it. Keep an open mind and try out new things and new dishes whenever you get opportunity but always do that within a limit. If you are lactose intolerant, or allergic to a particular food item, make sure to avoid those when trying out new dishes at the destination.

The most basic condition of things if under district protect yourself against accidents and injuries. If you are riding a motorcycle, consider investing in a good quality branded motorcycle helmet or a modular helmet. And if you’re driving a four-wheeler, always wear a seat belt and follow local laws and regulations.
